JOINTstat® is a standard laboratory test.
Similar to other laboratory tests, a sample of blood is drawn in a tube and analysed by the lab.
JOINTstat® is a test that can be ordered by your doctor. Similar to common laboratory tests, a sample of your blood is collected in a tube and then tested in a laboratory for the levels of the 14-3-3η protein. Your test results are reported to your doctor for interpretation along with his/her clinical assessment.
Where is JOINTstat® available?
In Canada, JOINTstat® is available through Dynacare.
In the United States, the 14-3-3η diagnostic test is available through LabCorp.
